Qualifications

• Knowledge of Highway Code, tachograph requirements, and transport regulations.
• Experience with transport operation systems.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations.
• Ability to analyse and solve logistic problems.

Responsibilities

• Allocate driver/loads using IT systems and communicate plans to customers.
• Ensure adequate driver staffing, including agency staff.
• Approve weekly driver timesheets.
• Track driver/vehicle status and communicate delays to customers.
• Deploy service recovery actions when delivery is at risk of failure.
• Communicate delays to internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Work in a team and participate in cross-training.
• Drive continuous improvements to operations.
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe working environment.
• Maintain KPI performance and driver debriefs.
