Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for a busy Huddersfield manufacturing site, combining day-to-day leadership with practical engineering support and a focus on quality, safety and performance.

You will join a close-knit production team where you can make a tangible impact on the shop floor, driving output and continuous improvement while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Time-served engineering background.
• Ability to operate lathes and milling machines would be beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage production staffing and daily shop-floor activities.
• Ensure output, quality and delivery targets are achieved.
• Lead, develop and motivate production employees.
• Support the assembly and testing of products when required.
• Manage the maintenance and improvement of production equipment and tooling.
• Troubleshooting manufacturing issues and identifying root causes.
• Support continuous improvement projects and future business growth.
• Maintaining strong communication across the production team.
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards and a clean, safe workplace.
