Job summary

Rank Group, via Rank Interactive, is seeking a Player Protection Executive for day shifts in Sheffield. You will protect customers using analytical methods, open-source info and direct interactions to support safer gambling and affordability reviews.

The role emphasizes high-value customer investigations, compliance with the Proceeds of Crime Act, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure best practices across digital and retail channels.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver high quality customer service.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Able to assess and present risk assessments.
• Experience of holding difficult conversations with customers.
• Able to work with several stakeholders to discuss histories, reinstatement decisions and groupwide barrings.
• Attention to detail and ability to review information quickly.
• A clear understanding of Safer Gambling in line with UKGC terms.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail; works well alone or in a virtual team.
• Experience in online gambling is desirable; training provided.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Support the Player Protection manager in safer gambling, verification checks and AML.
• Analyse individual customer activity using open source and direct interactions.
• Identify and evaluate customer activity for decisions per LCCP interaction guidance.
• Identify customers with potential problem gambling indicators.
• Identify customers playing with illicit funds or involved in money laundering.
• Use data to identify at-risk customers and assess funding sources.
• Consult with the Player Protection Manager on cases and high-risk customers.
• Recommend account actions for at-risk customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices across teams.
• Coordinate with digital and retail stakeholders for high-value customers.
• Prepare high-quality reports for the Manager and stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with gambling industry legislation.
