Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel seeks an HGV Class 1 ADR Relief Driver for a fixed day-shift role at East Midlands Gateway. The position involves trunking, Class 1 and 2 work, and on-site support for the client contract. Newly qualified drivers are welcome and training is provided to build confidence and mileage.

Role includes weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and potential overtime; ADR is a strong plus but not essential with training available. Modern Euro 6 fleet used.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required or recently qualified.
• ADR licence preferred, training provided if not held.
• Up-to-date CPC card required.
• Experience with long-haul trunking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 and 2 when required on the East Midlands Gateway contract.
• Trunking and trailer swaps, with loads secured to legal standards.
• Deliveries and collections to commercial premises.
• Complete ADR deliveries where applicable; training available.
