Job Description Summary

As the Day Shift Engineering Technician, you will report to the Manufacturing Technical Leader and support the execution and process teams in resolving technical issues, whilst also identifying and implementing process improvements for Safety, Quality, Delivery (Efficiency), and Cost.

This role is offered on a Monday-Friday (08:30-16:30) working hour arrangement.

Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to the technical associates in resolving complex machine related faults. This will include robust root cause analysis, and to action any improvements that can be made to mitigate future failures.
  • Acting as a process expert for the PBBBCS lines, guiding others and sharing knowledge.
  • Utilising technology to support root cause analysis e.g. PLCs, AutoCAD drawings, MES etc.
  • Identify and implement process improvement ideas, that will have a positive influence on Safety, Quality, Delivery and/or Cost.
  • Implement training programs for technical shift associates.
  • Effectively communicate with the execution and asset care team to enable results.

About You

  • HNC or equivalent Lvl 4 Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments
  • Strong engineering aptitude with the ability to fault find and resolve technical problems
  • Great communicator with the ability to work within a team
  • Background in Mechanical and Electrical desirable.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • SAP experience desired, but not essential.
