Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Days Only) to deliver planned and reactive maintenance at Hexagon Tower Manchester, a technical Science Park. The role focuses on electrical system maintenance, fault finding, and compliance with safety and industry standards in a commercial environment.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition required; a strong electrical background is essential.
• C&G 2391/AM2 would be advantageous for testing and inspection.
• Capable of remedial and reactive repairs with minimal supervision.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• IOSH Working/Safely or equivalent desirable.
• PTW RAMS and safe systems of work knowledge desirable.
• Knowledge of boilers, water treatment and BMS systems desirable.
• L8 Training desirable

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services.
• Fault finding, testing, inspection and repairs on LV electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and site safety procedures.
• Maintain plant rooms and building services areas to high standards.
• Complete documentation, logbooks, certificates and compliance records.
• Assist with supervision of subcontractors ensuring safety compliance.
• Identify defects and recommend remedial works for continuous improvement.
• Ensure statutory compliance across building systems.
