Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an Electrician to join our Manchester team. You will respond to breakdowns, perform routine maintenance and diagnose power quality issues on site.

You will test emergency lighting and fire alarms, read and interpret technical drawings and O&Ms, and undertake upgrades and installation work while coordinating with subcontractors to ensure CBRE standards are met. Applicants should hold 18th Edition regulations and have experience with building management

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
• Experience working with building management systems including fault finding and operator use.
• FM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Perform routine maintenance to a high standard.
• Test and diagnose power quality issues.
• Test emergency lighting.
• Test fire alarms.
• Read and interpret drawings, instructions, and O&M docs.
• Undertake upgrades and installation work.
• Liaise with sub-contractors per CBRE policies.
• Monitor environmental conditions and equipment loading.
• Identify root causes and actions to restore availability.
• Maintain accurate site logs and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as required.
