Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment are working with an established East Yorkshire manufacturer to recruit an experienced Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a varied, hands-on role across production machinery, site facilities and safety-critical systems.

You will own planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical faults, contribute to the preventative maintenance programme via CMMS, and assist with contractor coordination to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification and site experience.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Multi-skilled maintenance with mechanical, pneumatic and control systems.
Experience planning small-scale electrical installation work.
Understanding of engineering compliance and inspection requirements.
Risk assessments and safe systems of work knowledge.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site facilities.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and support mechanical/pneumatic/control systems.
Develop and manage the planned preventative maintenance programme using CMMS.
Plan and complete small-scale electrical installation and improvement work; support modifications.
Coordinate contractors, servicing, inspections and compliance (LOLER, LEV, etc.).
Support engineering apprentice development across operations, compliance and safety.
