Job summary
Consortium Professional Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer for an East Yorkshire site. The role covers hands-on electrical maintenance across CNC machinery, woodworking and metal fabrication equipment, with opportunities to lead on preventative maintenance and site improvements. You will coordinate contractors, manage inspections, and support apprentices while ensuring safe, reliable production facilities.
Qualifications
Electrical qualification with 17th or 18th Edition.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to lead on electrical maintenance.
Take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site facilities.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, supporting mechanical, pneumatic and control systems as required.
Develop and manage the planned preventative maintenance programme (CMMS).
Plan and complete small-scale electrical installation work and support equipment modifications.
Coordinate contractors, statutory inspections and engineering compliance requirements.
