Job summary

Proman are seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will set up and operate CNC punch press machinery, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. The role offers a continental day shift (4 on / 4 off), 37 hours per week, with a pay rate of £16.43ph - £17.10ph.

Experience with Trumpf or Salvagnini machines is advantageous, and there are ongoing training and development opportunities within a supportive manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proven commitment to quality and safety in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC punch press machines
• Load, change, and adjust tooling
• Work from engineering drawings and production paperwork
• Monitor machine performance and output quality
• Record production and quality information accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow health, safety and quality procedures
