Pertemps Dudley Industrial in Halesowen is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join a busy engineering environment. The role involves setting up and programming Fanuc-controlled milling machines, reading drawings, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

Day shift, 6:00am–2:00pm, £15-£20 per hour DOE. Ideal candidates will have previous CNC milling experience, strong Fanuc knowledge, and the ability to work independently to produce precision components to

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC milling with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proven programming, setting and operating experience.
• Work to tight tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Able to work independently and meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Working with Fanuc CNC controls.
• Producing components to drawings and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Setting tooling, workholding, offsets and machine parameters.
• Selecting cutting tools and machining techniques.
• Editing and adjusting CNC programmes where required.
• Setting machines for repeat and varied production work.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Using micrometers, verniers, gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area.
