Job summary
Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a Day Service Support Worker to help adults with disabilities live more independently in their community. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage community connections and support the individual to exercise choice, independence and citizenship through person-centred care.
No formal qualifications are required as comprehensive training, including the Care Certificate and RQF award, will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support people in day-to-day activities.
- Provide opportunities by enabling them to connect within their communities.
- Put choice, independence, enablement, and citizenship at the heart of everything we do.
- Provide emotional and physical support to people from different care groups.
- Assist with personal care including use of mobility aids and dietary needs as trained.
