Job summary

Lympstone Manor, a 5* luxury hotel between Exeter and Exmouth, is seeking a Day Porter to join our Front of House team. The role focuses on delivering a polished guest experience and assisting with breakfast service, parking and valet tasks.

The ideal candidate is customer‑oriented, detail‑minded, fluent in English, and capable of working within a professional team. Previous hospitality experience is desirable.

We are looking for a Day Porter to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the industry and the work they do and will consistently perform to the highest level ensuring all Lympstone Manor standards are met, they will work as a team to provide the very best possible levels of customer service providing the guest with an unforgettable stay. Proven experience in the industry and similar hotels desirable.

What you’ll be doing

• Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Providing a concierge service to guests on request
• Assisting with breakfast service/early morning trays as required
• Providing a valeting service to all guests, including parking, cleaning and polishing of cars
• Offering all guests assistance where possible, including luggage, shoe polishing and laundry services

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?

You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.
