Job summary

Wycombe Abbey is seeking Day Matrons to support boarding House teams for girls aged 11-17. You will work under the Housemistress and Senior Resident Matron to create a welcoming, cheerful environment, ensuring routines, appearance and personal hygiene standards are upheld.

Role involves running the House Dispensary, dispensing simple medication, maintaining medical records, and supporting day-to-day housekeeping and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils aged 11-17 preferred.
• Good IT skills and ability to maintain records.
• Able to work in term-time with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure house routines are followed and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Dispense simple medication and maintain medical records.
• Oversee pupils' clothes and laundry and keep the house tidy.
• Provide pastoral support and assist Housemistress with duties.
• Carry out administrative tasks for the House team.
