Wycombe Abbey seeks a friendly Part-time Day Matron to join the House Team. You will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for girls aged 11-17, assist with house routines, and provide pastoral support.

The role involves managing the dispensary, medical records and daily house operations, with scheduling across multiple houses. Flexible part-time opportunities are available during Wycombe Abbey Term Time, with salary £14.37 per hour (based on a full-time equivalent of £28,022).

Qualifications

• Positive interaction with and understanding of the needs of young people.
• Good IT skills and ability to use school systems.
• Ability to build supportive relationships with colleagues and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Ensure House routines are followed and maintain a warm, homely atmosphere.
• Run the House Dispensary and dispense simple medication; maintain medical records.
• Oversee pupils' clothes and laundry; assist with tidiness of the House.
• Provide pastoral support and assist with admin tasks for the Housemistress.
