Maintenance Engineer

Location: Paulton, Somerset

Salary: GBP48,000 - GBP50,000

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday + occasional Saturday

On-call rota required (including nights) Overtime 1.5 rate

About the Role

This well-established business is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support its operations. This role involves maintaining and repairing production and intake systems, ensuring minimal downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This company have a number of sites across the UK and have a number of ongoing projects, which is more than enough to get your teeth stuck into!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operations
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and interruptions
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and safety
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for compliance and safety

Requirements:

• Qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical fields
• Must have an electrical qualification
• Understanding of Safe Isolation procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
