Job summary

Pickstock Telford Ltd. is seeking a Day Hygiene Operative to join our cleaning team. The role covers keeping the production site, including the abattoir and boning areas, at an exceptional standard of cleanliness and hygiene, with a focus on safety and traceability throughout the process.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, and capable of working as part of a proactive team in a fast-paced food processing environment. Full-time hours and site-based work are involved.

Responsibilities

• Operating the tray wash area, cleaning the trays, lids, plastic pallets and packing racks for production. This includes pre start checks and inspecting for fault and damage.
• Operational corridor management, overseeing the segregation of waste products.
• Operating the knife wash – CIP of knifes, chain mail gloves and aprons during production breaks.
• Ensuring internal chillers are cleaning in accordance with CIC.
• Any other additional cleaning tasks required.

Purpose of the Role:
