Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a cleaning operative to maintain high cleanliness standards across designated areas such as offices, washrooms and corridors. You will follow the cleaning schedule and health and safety regulations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all users.

The role may involve training and working either independently or as part of a team, with emphasis on reliability, punctuality and attention to detail. COSHH knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential and training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas such as offices, washrooms, corridors and communal areas to the required standard.
• Replenish consumables like toilet rolls, soaps and paper towels.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with training and procedures.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times and wear the correct uniform and ID.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored after use.

To ensure that designated areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with site requirements and health & safety regulations, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users., Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standards as per the cleaning schedule.

• Ensure all areas such as offices, washrooms, mall areas, corridors, and communal areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet rolls, soaps, and paper towels.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with training and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow company and site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
• Comply with site security procedures, including wearing the correct uniform and identification.

Essential:

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential - training provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:
