Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for the Daneside Mews Home in Northwich, Cheshire. This permanent, full-time role (33 hours per week) covers day shifts and alternate weekends, with a starting salary of £13.45 per hour.

Sponsorship is not available. You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care, creating warm and welcoming communities where residents feel safe, valued, and at home.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care by supporting/assisting Residents with daily living
• Assist Residents in all care needs while maintaining comfort and dignity
• Pay attention to residents with limited mobility; use aids effectively
• Monitor Residents who may be confused or have behavioural issues
• Assist in continence and delivery of care for residents with progressive illness
• Record daily care and respond to nurse calls and messages promptly
• Support social activities and encourage hobbies within the Home
• Carry out regular safety checks and assist with bed making and cleanliness
• Maintain equipment and the Home environment to ensure cleanliness and order
