Job summary

Coventry Building Society is transforming its data landscape. We seek a passionate DataOps Engineer to design, develop and test scalable data solutions within multidisciplinary data product teams.

You’ll drive automation, improve delivery quality and support the Data Office with CI/CD practices and governance. The role involves coaching colleagues, working with third-party suppliers, and occasional out-of-hours support for critical data solutions as part of a hybrid, office-plus-remote work

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering scalable data solutions.
• Automation of data engineering processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes and lakehouse concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data tooling and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test data engineering solutions within multidisciplinary teams.
• Automate data engineering processes and improve delivery quality.
• Provide technical guidance and assurance across the Data Office.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers and support business-critical data solutions.
