Job summary

Coventry Building Society is seeking 5 Data Engineers for a 12-month fixed term contract within the Data and Analytics Delivery department. The role focuses on migration and integration of data into our new ecosystem, with design, development and testing of data solutions.

The post holder will review and guide design, build and test activities, ensuring delivery meets business needs. We operate a team-led hybrid approach with at least one day a week in the Coventry or Manchester office.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with AWS, Python, SQL, Git and PySpark.
• Data Engineering qualification or extensive Data Development experience in a commercial/Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test quality data engineering solutions for migration and integration into the new ecosystem.
• Perform review and assurance activity; provide guidance on design, build and test to team members.
• Deliver solutions adhering to standard driven code development and test requirements, including test data and scripts.
