Job summary

Coventry Building Society is recruiting five Data Engineers for a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Data and Analytics Delivery department. You’ll design, develop and test data engineering solutions to migrate data into a new ecosystem and support improvements to processes and tooling.

The role is team-led hybrid, with at least one day per week in the Coventry or Manchester office. A bonus scheme and pension are among the listed benefits.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering related qualification or extensive data development experience in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with AWS, Python and SQL is essential; strong Git and PySpark experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test data engineering solutions to support migration into a new ecosystem.
• Provide guidance on design, build and test activities and ensure quality through testing.
• Participate in review and assurance activities to improve processes and tooling.
