Mistral AI is seeking a founding datacenter leadership role to turn arriving hardware into trusted clusters. You will lead a team from day one, blending hardware and software, driving time-to-acceptance from weeks to hours, and shaping the charter of Europe’s sovereign AI compute platform.

You’ll automate the delivery pipeline in Go, hire engineers, coach growth, and partner with product and datacenter teams to plan delivery waves.

Qualificações

• 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
• 2+ years leading engineers with real people leadership.
• Deep Linux expertise and comfort below the application layer.
• Shipped production systems in Go, not just dabbled.
• Hardware fluency: servers, GPUs, NICs, switches, firmware.
• Willing to travel to datacenter sites.
• Low-ego, team-first mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Build the delivery pipeline in Go: provisioning, configuration, validation, burn-in, network bring-up, software stack install.
• Build the team from scratch: hire, onboard, coach, and set growth paths; define tooling standards and playbooks.
• Own time-to-acceptance and drive it down; analyze steps and eliminate slowest links.
• Collaborate with Hardware Design and Fleet Health to improve reliability.
• Handle GPU fleets at scale (e.g., H100/GB200) and manage delivery waves with Product Managers.
