Cognizant’s Data & AI Consulting – Public Sector in the UK is seeking a Data Products Architect – Databricks to lead the design of enterprise data products on the Databricks Lakehouse platform. You will define standards, governance, and patterns to enable self-service analytics across government domains.

Working with product owners, data engineers, and governance teams, you will shape a modern data product operating model, promote data democratization, and ensure security and regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data architecture and data product design.
• Familiarity with UK Public Sector data management, governance and compliance.
• Proven track record delivering governed, reusable data products at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise data products on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Define standards, templates, and reference architectures to ensure scalable, reusable data products.
• Design data products that are discoverable, versioned, and aligned with data mesh principles.
• Establish governance practices for metadata, lineage, and data quality across products.
• Collaborate with platform teams to support self-service consumption and data contracts.
