About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll take charge of the design, performance, availability, integrity, and security of our Oracle and SQL Server databases. You’ll be a key player in maintaining our critically important systems, ensuring they run smoothly and securely across multiple product lifecycle environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases, from development to production.
2. Configure and monitor database servers to ensure high performance and availability.
3. Apply data modelling techniques to optimize integration and performance.
4. Fix and resolve issues in real time, providing end-to-end support.
5. Automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
6. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
7. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployments.
8. Provide technical mentorship and cross-training to team members.
9. Assist with building and configuring application servers for corporate systems.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Solid skills in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Attention to detail in analyzing complex data structures, with a focus on database security and compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Certifications like Oracle Certified Professional or Azure Database Administrator Associate are a plus.
