Job summary

Logistex in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to own and optimize our Postgres and Oracle environments. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance across enterprise systems.

Work with CI/CD and DevOps teams, perform upgrades, backups, and recovery testing, and implement best practices. This role suits someone who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving tech org.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DBA or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
