A leading technology firm is looking for a Data Warehouse / Database Engineer to support the transition of reporting systems. The role involves designing data warehouse architectures, developing SQL scripts, and ensuring data quality for ServiceNow integration. An ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL, Postgres, and Netezza, with 6-8 years in similar roles. The position requires working on-site 2-3 days a week, offering a hybrid work structure.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience with Postgres or IBM Netezza.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehouse schema changes.
• Develop bulk-load SQL scripts for data ingestion.
• Support and validate mapped data files.
• Troubleshoot data quality and ingestion issues.

Advanced SQL scripting skills

Strong experience as a Database / Data Warehouse Engineer

Experience designing and maintaining enterprise data warehouse schemas

Experience with batch ingestion and bulk-load processes

Strong data validation and reconciliation skills
