Job summary

Data & AI Development Lead | London | Leading Global Investment Bank

We're partnering with a prestigious, advisory-focused investment bank with a global footprint to hire a Data & AI Development Lead into their London office. This is a lead-level opportunity sitting within a high-impact Data and Applications team that builds analytics, AI-powered tools and data infrastructure across the firm.

The Role

You'll take a lead role in designing and delivering data and analytics solutions that connect technology with decision-making across corporate and client-facing functions. This spans data engineering, reporting, workflow automation and AI tooling — with real visibility and stakeholder influence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable insights
• Drive workflow automation using Microsoft Power Platform and ServiceNow App Builder
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries across Snowflake and other relational databases
• Partner with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-critical analytics solutions
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow and Workday reporting, dashboards and system integrations
• Champion data governance, quality and best practices across the team
• Provide subject matter expertise on data lineage, integrity and downstream system dependencies

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in data analysis, reporting or data engineering
• Strong, hands-on Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, data gateway)
• Snowflake proficiency — essential
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures and data modelling
• Experience with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 integrations
• Python for scripting, automation or data manipulation
• ServiceNow experience (Service Catalog, ITSM modules, Service Portal)
• Background in financial services or professional services strongly preferred
• Experience with Workday reporting and BI tools
