Job summary

Propel Infotech is seeking a Data Visualization Designer to translate complex datasets into compelling visual stories and lead the design of data visualizations that communicate insights. You will work in close partnership with researchers, analysts, data engineers, data scientists and project managers to unlock the value of data.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in data visualization, deep Power BI expertise and a strong portfolio of open-source visualization tools,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall work experience.
• 4+ years as Data Visualization Engineer.
• Expertise in Power BI.
• Experience with Plotly, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Experience connecting visualization tools to diverse data sources.
• Bachelor's or Master's in STEM.
• Advanced Power BI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex datasets into visual stories for communication of insights.
• Support researchers and analysts to identify relevant data and lead visualization design.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts and project managers.
