Job summary

prosource.it is seeking an experienced Data Strategy & Value Realisation Consultant to join a major data transformation programme in the UK, with travel to sites mainly in Central Scotland. The role focuses on shaping investments, developing investment cases, and driving organisational value through data initiatives.

You will work with programme leadership to identify data opportunities, assess priorities, and create compelling business cases for future funding decisions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience scoping and defining data and information management programmes.
• Experience within major data, analytics, digital or technology-enabled business change programmes.
• Proven track record translating strategic objectives into prioritised initiatives and investment proposals.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with executive and technical level interaction.
• Experience assessing business value, benefits, dependencies, risks and delivery readiness.
• Background working within asset-intensive or large capital delivery environments is advantageous.

prosource.it is supporting the search for an experienced Data Strategy & Value Realisation Consultant to join a major data transformation programme. This is a unique opportunity for a senior data and business change professional who excels at shaping investment decisions, translating strategic ambitions into tangible initiatives, and building compelling business cases that drive organisational value. Working alongside programme leadership, you will engage with stakeholders across the business to identify data and information management opportunities, assess priorities, and develop investment cases that support future programme funding decisions.

Location: UK based, with ability to travel to sites mainly in Central Scotland

Contract Type: Contract Opportunity (6 Months initially)

Contractors: Competitive day rate available for suitable candidates

You will help shape and define future data initiatives by working across business and technical teams to understand requirements, opportunities, constraints and strategic objectives.
