Data Architect - ERP Transformation Programme needed urgently for an initial 6 - month engagement (likely to extend) with our Construction client in Edinburgh. The right candidate must have demonstrable experience as a Data Architect combined with previous experience working on ERP projects and programmes within complex, corporate environments.
The role pays up to £575 per day and requires candidates to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company. Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite in Edinburgh 2 days per week.
As the Data Architect on the programme you will lead the design and governance of the end-to‑end data architecture for the ERP transformation, ensuring data is structured, secure, high quality and aligned to business objectives. You will own the data migration strategy, overseeing data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation and reconciliation, while establishing master data standards, governance frameworks, ownership models and data quality controls across the organisation.
Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners, you will design and govern data flows between ERP, reporting and analytics platforms, assure data‑related deliverables, and provide leadership through architecture reviews and governance forums. You'll also identify and mitigate data risks and dependencies, support testing and deployment activities, and ensure effective knowledge transfer to internal teams to create a sustainable and supportable long‑term data environment.
