Job summary

Seriös Group, a UK technology company, is seeking Data Solutions Engineers across levels to turn client needs into practical data solutions. You’ll build data pipelines, optimise SQL, and create dashboards with Power BI/Tableau/QLik, while testing and ensuring data quality and governance.

You’ll work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, applying modern delivery practices, exploring AI and automation where appropriate, and developing capabilities across the data lifecycle in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, data testing or data insights with interest in broader data capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and commitment to high-quality solutions
• Experience with SQL and modern data technologies, platforms or tools
• Understanding of data quality and scalable, maintainable solutions
• Confidence translating requirements into practical solutions for clients
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Collaborative, consultative approach and ability to build trusted relationships
• Curiosity and willingness to learn across data areas
• For senior roles, ownership of complex solutions and technical direction

Responsibilities

• Turn client goals and requirements into clear, practical data solutions
• Build and optimise SQL queries, data pipelines, transformations and data structures
• Create dashboards and data stories using Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
• Plan and deliver data testing from exploratory to automated testing
• Investigate issues, improve data quality and apply governance and security controls
• Work with cloud data platforms, version control, CI/CD and modern delivery practices
• Explore automation, AI and emerging technologies where value is created
• Communicate findings, risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Share knowledge and develop capabilities across the data lifecycle
