Seriös Group, a UK technology company, is seeking Data Solutions Engineers across levels to turn client needs into practical data solutions. You’ll build data pipelines, optimise SQL, and create dashboards with Power BI/Tableau/QLik, while testing and ensuring data quality and governance.

You’ll work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, applying modern delivery practices, exploring AI and automation where appropriate, and developing capabilities across the data lifecycle in a hybrid setup.

Our Data Solutions Engineers work across the data lifecycle, turning client needs into practical, high-quality data solutions.We’re interested in connecting with Data Engineers at all levels, from Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers through to Principal Data Engineers and Data Engineering Leads. We’re also keen to hear from Data Test and Data Insights specialists who want to broaden their expertise and develop into a more generalist Data Solutions Engineer role.

Depending on your experience and strengths, you could work across data engineering, testing and insights, or initially bring deeper expertise in one area while developing your capabilities across the wider data lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements, engineer and validate data, create meaningful insights and deliver high-quality solutions,using our proprietary Data and AI Operating system,Seriös ONE, as a core part of how we deliver for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Turn client goals and sometimes ambiguous requirements into clear, practical data solutions

• Build and optimise SQL queries, data pipelines, transformations and data structures

• Create dashboards and meaningful data stories using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik

• Plan and deliver data testing, from exploratory and manual testing through to automation and performance

• Investigate issues, strengthen data quality and apply appropriate governance and security controls

• Work with cloud data platforms, version control, CI/CD and modern delivery practices

• Explore automation, AI and emerging technologies where they can add genuine value

• Communicate findings, recommendations, risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences

• Share knowledge and continue developing your capabilities across the wider data lifecycle

What we’re looking for

We know great Data Solutions Engineers can come from different technical backgrounds. You don’t need to be an expert across every discipline. We’re particularly interested in people with:

• Experience indata engineering, data testing or data insights, with an interest in developing broader data capabilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions

• Experience with SQL and modern data technologies, platforms or tools

• An understanding of data quality and the principles behind scalable, maintainable solutions

• Confidence working with clients and translating requirements into practical solutions

• Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• A collaborative and consultative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships

• Curiosity, a willingness to learn and an interest in developing across different areas of data

• For more senior opportunities, experience taking ownership of complex solutions, providing technical direction and supporting the development of others
