Job Description
Possess 13-17 years of work experience at a reputable Data & AI services firm.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for compelling storytelling.
Proven capabilities to design and implement data platforms on cloud AWS/Snowflake, including services such as Data Strategy, DB Management, Data Warehousing, Data Migrations, ETL pipelines, Data Modelling, RDM/MDM, Data Observability, Enterprise Data Platforms, Reporting, and Analytics.
Demonstrated ability to deliver Data & AI projects, conduct assessments of the data landscape, offer expert guidance on tool or platform rationalisation, and provide solutions for modernising, migrating, and integrating cloud applications based on industry best practices and aligned with the client's enterprise strategy.
Proven experience as a Data Solution Architect, with expertise in various AWS services such as EC2, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Quicksight, and Sagemaker, among others.
Proficiency in Snowflake's architecture and familiarity with its features, including Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks for real-time data processing. Additionally, familiarity with Streamlit and knowledge of DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.
Should hold relevant technical certifications from AWS and Snowflake.
The ability to conduct data landscape assessments and provide solutions for modernising, migrating, and integrating applications on the cloud using industry best practices.
Engage with business and technology stakeholders, gather necessary information, understand client expectations, clarify details through workshops, and propose and discuss optimal solutions.
Ability to deliver projects, manage, and troubleshoot escalated issues related to Data & AI delivery.
Work closely with pre-sales, account, and sales teams, supporting all phases of Data & AI deal pursuits and expanding existing projects.
Good to have:
Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Decision Sciences.
Drive meaningful customer conversations and achieve positive business outcomes.
Engage effectively with clients and play a key role in successful client outcomes.
Familiarity with MDM tools such as Informatica, Profisee, etc.
Prior experience collaborating with AWS and Snowflake to refine go-to-market strategies at the account level.
Understanding of Agile methodology for development and execution.
Proficient in data consumption design patterns such as semantic layers and visualisations.
Experience in implementing MLOps projects.
Maintain an active learning approach, stay current with industry trends, and apply insights to develop solutions, initiate projects, and shape capability roadmaps.
Contribute to the development of solutions and automation accelerators, and mentor emerging Data & AI talent.
Familiarity with the business landscape in the UK and Europe.
Willing to travel up to 10-20% within the UK and sometimes Europe.
