Position: Data Security Compliance Advisor

Duration: 12 Month FTC, Full Time

Location: Hybrid – WFH and 1-2 Days in East Grinstead Office

Salary & Benefits: Basic Salary £45,000-£47,000, plus benefits including 25 Days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Private Health, discounts, wellbeing allowance, training support, eye care vouchers, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end process of data subject requests under UK GDPR, including SARs and erasure requests.
• Develop and improve internal documentation and communication regarding data requests and processes.
• Collaborate on the development and integration of data protection tools like OneTrust.
• Review and enhance assessment and accountability processes such as DPIAs, LIAs, and ROPAs.
• Support the implementation of Data Protection by Default and by Design.
• Assist in updating and communicating Data Security Policies.
• Contribute to data protection training and awareness campaigns.
• Provide guidance on data security and protection queries.
• Represent the team in meetings and external events.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of UK data protection laws and guidance.
• Recognized data protection qualifications (e.g., UK GDPR Practitioner, CIPP/E, CIPM).
• Experience handling data subject requests under UK GDPR.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information and provide legal guidance.
