Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Data Scientist to measure PlayStation product and commercial initiatives through experimentation, causal inference and applied analytics. You will collaborate across product, engineering and business teams to deliver high-quality measurement and insights that inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field; PhD preferred.
• 3+ years applying experimentation, causal inference, modelling or ML to business problems.
• Strong understanding of experimental design and modern causal inference methods.
• Experience applying data science/ML to analyze complex datasets and generate insights.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency for analytical workflows.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Apply measurement methodologies across experimentation, causal inference and advanced analytics.
• Design and execute robust measurement approaches across randomised experiments and quasi-experimental methods.
• Apply statistical, ML and AI techniques to solve measurement challenges and generate insights.
• Develop reusable analytical solutions and dashboards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics and business stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve tooling and workflows.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Stay current with developments in statistics, ML and AI.
