Job summary

Expedia Group is hiring a Data Scientist II in our Product & Technology Analytics team to drive data-driven decision-making across London and Madrid. You will extract, transform, and combine data to build robust models, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to influence product development and commercial performance.

The role requires 2+ years of analytics experience in data-rich environments, strong SQL skills, web analytics proficiency, and experience with Tableau.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytical experience in a data-rich commercial environment such as online travel, e-commerce, or banking.
• Strong communicator able to translate complex analyses for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in SQL with ability to write queries from scratch and interpret existing code.
• Proficient in web analytics tools (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics).
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Experience evaluating product impact using experimentation frameworks (A/B testing).
• Python is a nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Drive insights through deep-dive analyses and statistical tests to identify key drivers for partners.
• Transform data from diverse sources into robust models and analyses.
• Translate business needs into analytical solutions with stakeholders.
