Job summary

EVera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Scientist to help translate raw experimental data into meaningful insights, visualisations and scalable analytical workflows that accelerate energy storage technology development.

You will build data foundations, automate extraction and processing of complex datasets, apply statistical methods and machine learning, and present actionable results to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong programming skills for data analysis and workflow development, ideally including Python.
• Experience building data pipelines and working with complex datasets.
• Strong data visualisation and communication skills.
• Experience applying statistical methods and/or machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and workflows to automate the extraction, processing and analysis of experimental data.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, databases and analytical frameworks.
• Generate meaningful features, visualisations and reports from complex datasets.
• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to support product development decisions.
• Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop scripts, tools and automation solutions to improve business efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing data methodologies and accelerate development cycles.
