Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Scientist to transform raw experimental data into meaningful insights, visualisations and scalable analytical workflows. You will develop tools and workflows to automate data extraction, processing and analysis within energy storage technology programmes.

You will build data pipelines, databases and analytical frameworks, applying statistics and machine learning to shape product development decisions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong programming skills for data analysis and workflow development, ideally including Python.
• Experience building data pipelines and working with complex datasets.
• Strong data visualization and communication skills.
• Experience applying statistical methods and/or machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and workflows to automate the extraction, processing and analysis of experimental data.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, databases and analytical frameworks.
• Generate meaningful features, visualisations and reports from complex datasets.
• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to support product development decisions.
• Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop scripts, tools and automation solutions to improve business efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing data methodologies and accelerate development cycles.
