Royal Mail is seeking a Data Science Lead in London to shape how machine learning, forecasting and AI are applied across the business. You will provide technical leadership across the Data Science capability and mentor data scientists while guiding high-impact analytical initiatives.

This role blends hands-on delivery with leadership, working with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, ensure solution quality and drive data-driven decision making in a large transformation program.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record delivering analytics solutions in a commercial setting.
• Strong modelling, ML, and experimental design.
• Experience leading Data Science teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and delivery of advanced DS/ML/AI solutions for strategic decisions.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to Data Scientists.
• Drive adoption of DS best practices and modern ways of working.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to build scalable solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape data-driven approaches.
• Oversee solution quality and delivery across DS portfolio.
• Support recruitment and growth of the DS function.
• Translate analytic outputs into practical business recommendations.
