Royal Mail Group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Insights team in London. You will lead end-to-end data science projects, from exploration through deployment, delivering measurable business value across the organisation.

You will apply machine learning, statistics and optimisation on large datasets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Physics or Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Leading the design and delivery of data science solutions that create measurable business value.
• Working with complex datasets to uncover insights, identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Applying machine learning, statistical modelling, optimisation and AI techniques to solve business challenges.
• Designing and evaluating experiments, testing hypotheses and generating evidence-based recommendations.
• Developing proof-of-concepts and ensuring successful handover into production and operational teams.
• Communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contributing to data science best practices, innovation and continuous improvement across the function.
• Representing Royal Mail's data science capability through presentations, reports, publications and knowledge sharing.
