Qualifications

• Hands‑on expertise in data science with Python and SQL; ability to mentor others.
• Experience with ML Ops (Vertex AI), Git version control and software engineering best practices while using AI effectively to augment these practices.
• Passion for tackling business challenges and applying new data science techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams; ability to build data science roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Adept at working with stakeholders to identify and prioritise key problems and optimise KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and link complex data sets to support actionable insight and recommendations.
• Identify ideas and take ownership of opportunities to drive business impact with data science.
• Transform data and build models to optimise customer experience, profit revenue generation, cost reduction and other business outcomes.
• Be passionate about statistics, machine learning, and AI; convey their benefits and use cases to various audiences.
• Design and develop end‑to‑end solutions from problem definition to implementation and adoption.
• Embrace agile practices, set technical best practices, and apply AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Partner with multidisciplinary agile teams to drive technical product delivery.
