Job summary

IK Partners invites a Data Science & AI Intern to join the Operations team for a five-month placement starting in November 2026. The role is office-based and involves working closely with the Lead of Data Science & AI on data-driven analysis across IK's portfolio companies.

You will analyse operational data, build AI-enabled pipelines, and source external data sources. Deliverables are concise slide packs with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree programme, or a recent graduate, with a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
• Strong analytical capability and comfort with data analysis and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Analysing portfolio data to answer specific questions and identify process bottlenecks.
• Build ad-hoc AI-enabled pipelines to digitise text at scale.
• Source and evaluate external data to strengthen analyses.
• Convert work into slide decks with clear visuals and messages, reviewed with the Lead of Data Science & AI.
