Job summary

Oliver Wyman offers a 10-week Data & Analytics internship where you will work with our global team to solve real client challenges from day one. You will contribute to analytics prototypes, NLP-based tools, and risk modelling initiatives across multiple sectors, including financial services.

Ideal candidates are penultimate-year STEM students with strong data skills, Python or R experience, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year in STEM/quantitative program
• Data-driven mindset and ability to explain data science concepts to clients
• Programming skills in Python or R
• Strong teamwork and resilience in a changing environment
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
• Right to work in the UK
• Interest or experience in financial services and risk management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to solve challenges from day one.
• Develop analytical solutions and prototypes for data and analytics problems.
• Assess effectiveness of proposed solutions and discuss with clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to NLP/ML tooling and risk modelling initiatives for financial services.
