Job summary

Barings is offering a 9-week summer internship across public and private markets in credit, real assets, and capital solutions. Interns gain hands-on experience working on real business priorities, developing foundational investment skills, and learning how technology and AI-enabled tools are used to support research, analysis, and productivity.

High-performing interns may be considered for the Analyst Programme upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student with 2:1 or higher expected by Spring 2028.
• Preferred degrees include Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Statistics or related fields.
• Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office and ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting activities for debt or equity opportunities.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis and modelling.
• Assist risk assessment, valuation, and investment memo preparation.
