Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Data Risk Manager to support the ongoing development, embedding, and maturing of new technology by providing pragmatic data risk guidance within delivery frameworks. You will work within the Office of the DPO/Confidentiality in QRS, partnering with colleagues across the firm.

Your responsibilities include assessing technologies, advising on privacy risks at the design phase, and managing a portfolio of risk assessments with tight deadlines across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience providing pragmatic, risk-based advice to technology, business delivery teams or clients.
• Understanding data risks (data protection, confidentiality, data management) and when implementing technologies in a complex data environment.
• Experience with risk management, governance, and assurance frameworks in professional services or tech environments.
• Ability to distill complex tech language into simple language.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessment and implementation of technologies using risk governance processes.
• Consume technology assessments and support UK implementation requirements.
• Advise technology teams on privacy and confidentiality risks at design phase.
• Manage a portfolio of assessments with competing deadlines across multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond to data risk queries from engineering and risk professionals to support change.
• Help develop FAQs, playbooks, templates and processes to drive quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate across geographies to share best practices and drive consistency.
