The role sits in a broader transformation covering data governance, privacy and AI, with real scope to shape how information is managed across the organisation.

The 12-month fixed-term contract offers a salary up to £90,000, private healthcare, and a pension enhanced to 10%.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of data retention and regulatory requirements surrounding it.
• Experience carrying out retention assessments or implementing retention processes.
• Ability to gather information from stakeholders and translate requirements into practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Take existing data retention approach and move it into an operational phase.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to understand information held and needed changes.
• Turn policy and regulatory requirements into practical processes across legacy systems and complex environments.
