I love working for St Barnabas as I am part of a dedicated team who all work incredibly well together and with the wider teams in the community to ensure patients receive high standard of compassionate care towards the end of the life as well as supporting their families. It is a privilege to know we have helped a patient and their family achieve their wish of being cared for at home at the end of their life.
I have the satisfaction that the work I do has such a positive benefit to so many local people. The fantastic feedback from the community about the wonderful work St Barnabas does in the community really makes all the hard work worthwhile!
St Barnabas gives you opportunity. They give you free time to go on study days and insight days and they prioritise you as the individual and really invest in you. We’re like a family really. We look after each other and it's a really good place to work.
