You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our offices, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide privacy advice to strategic change programmes via DPIAs, papers/presentations and attendance at project meetings, highlighting risks and their potential impact while working with stakeholders on mitigating actions.
  • Design/review/enhance data privacy processes (and supporting templates/documentation) that help the Data Privacy Compliance Framework such as breach management, individual rights, DPIAs.
  • You may be required to design bespoke DP risk processes/templates, tailored to initiatives/teams’ circumstances/requirements.
  • Keep all documentation up-to-date, clear and accessible to facilitate cross-team working.
  • Organisation and communication skills (written and verbal) are imperative.
  • Propose solutions to process inefficiencies and act to remediate, seeking feedback from AXA UK Data Protection teams but also sometimes working with other teams and proposing change with wider impacts.
  • Participate in discussions with the AXA UK Data Protection team, providing views on technical questions based on extensive knowledge of DP law/regulatory requirements (kept up-to-date by regular horizon scanning) and experience.
  • Review Data Protection clauses with third party providers and corporate clients (unlikely to be a major part of role, but may be required on occasion).
