We are working with a highly regarded organisation seeking a new hire for a Data Protection Manager. This is a key operational and advisory role supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of a complex privacy, information governance and AI compliance framework across a large, multi-stakeholder organisation.
Reporting into the Head of Data Protection, you will play a central role in the day-to-day running of the organisation’s data protection, privacy, AI governance and information governance activities. This is a hands‑on role with real operational ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing advisory work with execution and case management. You will act as a trusted point of contact for privacy matters, ensuring risks are identified, managed and escalated appropriately, while supporting the embedding of privacy by design across business operations.
We are looking for a confident, hands‑on privacy professional with strong operational experience and the ability to thrive in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operational detail of privacy compliance, while also contributing to strategic improvements. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, working across multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance standards are consistently met. A strong interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and how they intersect with data protection is highly valued.
